## The development

Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry confirmed the signing of an Article 6 implementation agreement with Lao PDR on 4 September. It creates a framework for international carbon-credit transfers. The accompanying release says project authorisation procedures and eligible methodologies will be published in due course.
