The development
Reporting says Thailand approved THB 1.78 billion in financial assistance through NEDA for the Xiengman–Luang Prabang Mekong Bridge. Construction is expected to start by 2027, with operation projected for 2031. The proposed link connects Chomphet with Luang Prabang and the wider Xayabouly–Thailand corridor.
